Arabic Calligraphy

In this workshop, the artist shares his experience, spanning over a year, exploring the secrets, techniques, and principles of the beautiful art of Arabic calligraphy. He takes you on a journey through a glimpse of its history, stages of evolution, tools, to its various and beautiful styles. We will discuss the science of beauty, general aesthetic criteria, and aesthetic values in each style, each letter, and even in every movement and point. I will show you essential techniques and hidden secrets drawn from the world’s leading Arabic calligraphers, which I personally adopt in my creations and designs. Then, we will start drawing letters with their aesthetic principles through very simplified exercises suitable for all ages and levels of art and beauty enthusiasts.
